EMCS Leadership Projects
Projects (around the school and within our community) are a huge aspect of EMCS Leadership. If you want to get involved with any EMCS Leadership projects, please contact EMCS Leadership coordinators Todd Powell and Laura Verhoeven here.

COMMUNITY PROJECTS:
Cops For Cancer has been our primary community project for a number of years. In 2013, EMCS Leadership raised $7500 for the Canadian Cancer Society, the most money raised by the school.
However, EMCS Leadership is also becoming heavily involved in the development of a new community multi-purpose facility in Sooke. This very exciting project will on-going for the group.

INTERNATIONAL PROJECT: (LESOTHO, AFRICA)
This project is new to the EMCS Leadership portfolio. Started in 2013, with the guidance of Cst. Scott Rothermel (who has adopted two brothers from Lesotho), the group has raised money for schools supplies and a solar-powered oven. With a focus on really developing this project, the group is looking bigger to see how else they can be involved.
